The campground is right next to the historic Twin Cities Hotel. They are separate, but being beside it makes for a great landmark and a is a piece of Longview history.

The grounds have 9 individual sites on a loop road. Each site has an RV pad, fire pit, and picnic table. Shared amenities include a large tepee, communal fire pit, children's playground, horseshoe pits, disc golf, corn hole, large treed open green space and a giant charcoal BBQ/smoker.

Absolutely. Longview is famously know as the gateway to the Kananaskis. Located on Highway 22 and  highway 541.  Longview, Alberta sits right in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, giving visitors the feeling that the mountains are practically on the doorstep. From the village, the Rocky Mountains dominate the western horizon, creating spectacular views of rolling ranch land rising towards the rugged Rocky mountain peaks.

Absolutely. The grounds are perfect for weddings, engagement parties, reunions, and milestone celebrations. You get exclusive use of the entire property — the green space, tepee, communal fire pit, and BBQ/smoker. Just mention your event type when booking through Firefly Reservations and we will work with you on any additional  details you may require.

Yes! There is a small playset and play area on the grounds for children to enjoy.

Yes. Each pad can be used for an RV, a tent, or both. There are no restrictions on how you use your site.

Yes. All payments are handled securely through Firefly Reservations when you book.

No on-site amenities are currently available. For a small fee, the Village of Longview offers potable water and a sani dump at the Information Station on the north side of the village. We do offer non potable water on site for putting out the fire pits when you are done using them.

Yes. There is a designated fire wood trailer on site full of fire wood with a wheel barrel for you to use. Cost is $80 and can be booked through the booking site.  

You are also more then welcome to bring your own fire wood.

We have porta potties on sit for use.
